Bolla "Snow" Bowl

The Snow Bowl has been a fixture in the GHTFA for many years. in 2003 it was renamed the Bolla Bowl after a Canadian Touch Football builder, the founder of the "Snow Bowl" tournament, and long time participant in the GHTFA Frank Bolla (HOF - 2001) and a member of the GHTFA's Quarter Century Club. Frank was also a long time serving member of the GHTFA Executive. Frank played into his 80's participating in the Master's League.

The tournament is held on the Saturday prior to the Super Bowl and is usually 8 teams first come first serve. The tournament is open to any Touch Football team who wishes to participate.

Between games all participants are invited to the Headquarters "Gator Ted's Bar and Grill" 1505 Guelph Line & Upper Middle Rd. (Plaza south east corner). All day special pricing for food and beverage will be offered by Gator Teds upon acknowledgement of your team participation in the tournament. Prizes and trophies will be presented at Gator Teds after the Finals, usually around 4/4:30 PM. Photos will be taken of all teams entered and will be made available on our website. Winning teams in each division will receive an Annual Trophy and awards. AA Div. & A Div.) Individual T-Shirts/Hats will be handed out to players on winning teams at the headquarters.
